Nana is complaining that the intercom is ringing every day with a new delivery. I’m sure this is exaggeration.

I mentioned when the Brooks broke for the second time in six months that I was getting something new, and it arrived just after I’d swapped in my other Brooks saddle. I also got a totally unnecessary accessory, a bling Thomson seatpost. Nothing wrong with the seatpost that came with the bike, but every time I see the Thomson I want it.

I can’t say I’m unhappy with the Hunt rims on the bike now. I’ve got two sets. I’ve been meaning to relace the rear because I got the spokes too long. But I’ll be replacing the tires soon, and if I’m thinking about redoing the rims anyway … and these look so great.

Their debut will wait not just for the remaining wear on the current tires, but for a rainy weekend when I’ve got time to build a new pair of wheels.
